Hey dude i really like this idea but i think more time and patients is needed. I would get a big print off of media city and trace it through the light box, then you can start getting creative :).
ReplyDeleteIdea one would be to create the whole design out of the foam you've used at the bottom.
Idea two is to scan your image you have traced into photoshop and then start using layer masks and making it fit well.
I think you shouldnt always go 'scruffy' i think this illustration would work well with a nice clean crisp image.

The blue at the bottom could possibly work better if you used different shades of blue.
